I am currently at a community college, I've finished my AA, and I've recently decided that I want to be a physician's assistant or an architect. Well, I'm looking into both, but I can't seem to find a very straight answer on how to become a physician's assistant from where I'm at. Any suggestions? I don't have a major, although I really like kinesiology, or a school, which is why I'm still in the community college.

USC Medical School has Physician Assistant program.

The only one I’m aware of is USC’s. But their physician assistant program is at the Master’s Level. This means that you would have to get your Bachelors in whatever you’re interested in before applying. Your Bachelor’s doesn’t have to be related to science or health, but you will need to take the requirements for the Master’s admission. Also for USC’s program and I think for most others(even at the associates level) they require you to have completed a certain amount of documented work experience in the health field.

If you’re seriously interested in becoming a physician assistant why not get your RN at the Bachelor’s level. From there on you can continue to be Nurse Practitioner or PA
