So Cal trade school help

So i will start by saying i do not want to go through all of general ed again. I will say i struggled in high school because i have a problem focusing. The docs said i dont have adhd so there was nothing i could do. I barely made it through high school. Tests were one thing i really struggled with.

So i would like to find a trade school in the So Cal area as close as possible to zip 92570.
I am not sure what i would like to do but i know i need to get my stuff together. Maybe someone can help me. Here is the things i like
I am into design
I like photography
I like computers building and in general
I really like video editing
I guess you could say i am really into computers/photography/design in general.

Can someone please try and help me figure out a good career that is safe and wont die out?
Thanks guys.

nobody???

In my opinion, a lot of the trade schools provide education that could be had at any local community college at a HUGE price tag difference. Some community colleges have more trade like programs than others. Because of this, it’s honestly a matter of going to your high school and informing yourself of the local community colleges near you. Google Riverside Community College, and look at the course offerings, they seem to be extensive in multiple departments.

I personally would advise against a trade school where you end up paying thousands because its frankly not worth the debt when you have a cheaper option. From my knowledge there are not harvard or yales of trade schools. The exceptions are art schools/colleges.

Also the advantage of community colleges, because they’re only 20 a unit in cali at all community colleges, is that you don’t have the added pressure of deciding early on of what you want to do. You can financially have the freedom to explore different trades without feeling like you lost or spent a lot of money.

If you’re interested in art schools/colleges, you should post in the forum of art schools.

well at a community college you have to have all of general ed correct? That is the only thing i am trying to eliminate.

No not necessarily. You just enroll in the classes. Certificate programs don’t require general ed.
