I know there is a big confusion whether or not an applicant is still complying with the score choice restrictions by sending just all ACT scores or just all SAT scores... but does anyone have an answer to this? Must I send my SAT and ACT score or is it okay to just send everything from one testing company? The website is unclear and they did not respond to my e-mail, other than with a generic automated unhelpful response. Thanks..

Penn’s website says: “SAT and two SAT Subject Tests OR ACT Plus Writing.”

Thus, you only need to send ALL scores from ONE testing company.

What if we want to send ACT and 2 subject tests but not SAT 1, is that allowed, assuming I have one SAT score, but want to use my ACT instead of that

Colleges’ web sites are infuritatingly vague on issues like this.

Also, with regard to non-score-choice schools, people seem to ask all the time how would a college know exactly when and how many times you took which exam. But if in your profile at ACT or Collgeboard you said it would be ok for colleges to send you stuff, wouldn’t that mean that they are tipped off by ACT or Collegeboard that you took the ACT/SAT and at least roughly well how you did?
