Ok, so I got admitted as the class of 2013.
I have been doing the stuff that myberkeleyapplication is telling me to do.
But, I figured cannot go to CalSo (orientation) because I am an international student and I have to go home during the summer (yay!).
I have no idea how this telebear thing works for the new admit students.
I heard it starts during June. Do I register at my home through the internet?
Can somebody plz explain this telebear and all that process in detail? (I mean really,, step by step)

I am a freshman too. This is how it is supposed to work.

If you can’t attend Calso, you can’t register for anything for the time being. So, you can go to Calso link, click on the link “Can’t attend”. They will send you you instructions (I dont know if it’s email or regular mail) and give you directions on registering thru Telebear online from your home. I believe you won’t get to do any of this until end Jun/Early July. For now, you are shut out from Telebear.

This is my understanding. Maybe experienced guys know better.

ohhhhhhhh
so I have to click on “can’t go” to get all that information about telebear.
Thanks, I will try that.

basically they’ll email you your entry code for fall telebears, which you need to input before you “unlock” telebears to register for courses. you will get it after everyone else gets theirs since you don’t go to calso. so you will have trouble getting into a lot of popular/lower division courses your first semester, sorry.
