So CONFUSED!!

In the CB book, the practice tests consist of 62 math questions and
on the math conversion table at the end of every test, it says that
one needs 54 raw score to get a 800 on the math section. Does it
mean that if I can skip 8 questions if I get all the other questions right?
But some people who took the new SAT say that they got like a 700
for 4 or 5 incorrect answers. Does anybody have clue?

Also, are Princeton Review's 11 practice tests accurate (the questions
and their grading scales, etc)?

The CB book has math sections with 62 questions? I don't think that's true, and I took all 8 of them.
