So, describe the dating scene at your college.

In this thread, we post about anything even remotely related to this subject. I.E: rants, raves, etc. Boy/girl ratio, mostly hookups or big couples scene? Are the members of the opposite sex good looking? Or not so attractive? Annoying? Down to earth/relaxed? Personal experiences are welcome (Are YOU single and hating it? Or in a relationship?). :P

Don't forget to mention your college by name. :)

oohh, ok
U of I: its pretty big, lots of hook ups but definitely not enough men for women (i'm pretty sure its like a decent bit more women than men or the other way around), people date for a week and than break up. there was actually talks to create (by some genuis students) a web site where you kind of go on blind dates with toher students if you look through their likes and interests and majors etc. the only issue was that apparently part of the idea was that you HAD to go on the date no matter what which meant you had to be really open to anyone. it died in the end...

there are definitely a lot of attractive women and men which sometimes makes you wonder why a lot of them are single. im single and dont really mind it, well.... im a lot less constrained and that gives me more flexibility w/ my days.

Haha, my school should implement something like that.

I go to UNLV yay the dating scene well it kinda sucks there's a lot of cute guys and cute women for guys but since it's such a commuter school it's hard to really meet anyone! I live on campus and it's worse. The guys aren't that cute and are pretty dumb (that live on campus). I guess there's a lot of hook ups but not really dating or any relationships!

I don't think the dating scene at GSU is all that good. I mean, there are definitely enough people here to date, but I'm thinking since there isn't much of a campus, it's a commuter school, and there are a lot of working adults interspersed with late-teens and early-20somethings, there isn't a lot of hooking up going on here.

^ ohh i know I can definatly relate which sucks :( but jason do you live on campus?

Unfortunately, no. From what I've heard about the dorms, though, it's not hitting on much. I haven't heard one person say they love living in the dorms. There's a whole lot of "eh, it's alright" going on. The majority of the people living in the dorms are Freshmen and Sophomores. Kids just out of home, immature, not old enough to drink. But that's all hearsay.
