So did the Fin Aid office receive your ED CSS Profile yet??

Since we're SSSOOO nearing the decision date I'mw ondering if the financial aid office has actually downloaded your CSS Profiles yet, check your Financial Aid To Do List and find out!

For me I submitted end of October they still haven't picked it up, my To Do List still says need to be submitted. I'll check again now to see how it's doing.

Do you think this is any indication of anything at all? xD

Are we going to receive our fin aid decision alongside the ED decision?

My To-Do List has had something like “no information” for awhile now, but I called the FinAid Office and the lady said that Cornell has my CSS. And we probably will receive our FinAid decision alongside our ED decision, or shortly thereafter.

I just e-mailed fin aid about it, if they don’t reply soon I’ll phone and ask :P

They looked at mine already. They asked me to send my Permanent Resident Card (I’m not a citizen) so they could start reviewing it and e-mailed my dad to revise part of his non-custodial parent form.

If I never sent in my CSS, and they never asked for it, does this mean that I didn’t get in…? :frowning: I realize that the finaid and admissions are two different sections, but if they are released at the same time…

Under my finaid to do list, it says no information can be found

No, because some people never apply for financial aid because they don’t need it. You should probably send it in today if you can though…

do you think they have finished making the financial aid decisions?

Well, I hope they didn’t casue they still haven’t got my CSS that i submitted a month and a half ago!!! xD

I clicked on it and got this message:

Guess I’ll check again later…

yellowsnowman, could you quote what it says when you click on the financial aid to do list link?

do you think if it’s still there on the to-do list that means we didn’t get in :'((((((((((((((((((

Mine now says:

Hmm. I wonder: If students are going to be accepted, maybe the Cornell people give their financial aid forms to the financial aid office and have them start processing. This may mean that… that… I will be rejected since they clearly haven’t looked at my financial aid forms. :(

Mine also says…

No current to do item information found.

wait if there isn’t anything on your to do list, wouldn’t that mean they HAVE looked at it and that if the CSS profile is still there that they HAVEN’T? Now I’m disheartened and confused. What exactly do you want it to say?

I’m confused. krmh11, could you quote what YOURS says? I think that mine has said “No current to do item information found” ever since I submitted my application.

just going to chime in here…just the other day, my CSS profile was still on the To-Do List. I checked today, and it now says this: “No current to do item information found.” I was also contacted by the Financial Aid Office to send in a copy of my passport/Permanent Resident Card. I have no idea whether this reflects my chances of getting admitted or not

Well ever since I submitted my application, a to do list appeared and under it, it says CSS profile (even though I did submit it by the deadline, well before actually). Then you can click CSS profile and it says:
aid year: 2012 ( shouldn’t it be 2011? you guys did pick 2011-2012 on the css profile though right? not 2010-2011? I’m freaking out here!)
academic institution: cornell
Due date: 11/1/2010

and then says: You will need to file the College Scholarship Service (CSS) PROFILE in order to complete your application for financial aid. If you have not already done so, complete the PROFILE online at [College Admissions - SAT - University & College Search Tool](http://www.collegeboard.com) as soon as possible. We must receive your PROFILE data before we can review your request for financial aid.

All this even though I did submit it. I am so confused and worried and AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
same situation, can you phone Fin Aid office and ask them what’s this about?

I’d phone but… I can’t afford it xD

I can’t find the number but if you give it to me I should probably be able to. Grrrrr, I’m just so worried now!

Wait, so does the “No current to do item information found.” mean they have my CSS profile?
