I just received my AP Geography score… I only got a 4. And was anticipated a good 5. My parents and me are very disappointed! :((
I got a 5. I don’t see how anyone could’ve gotten less. That exam was a joke. I wrote a rant letter to my teacher for one FRQ and still got a 5 XD
I didn’t take the Geo test, but regret it because I heard it was easy. If it makes you feel better I got 2s on all my AP tests this year…
Don’t worry too much! People get lower scores than expected all the time due to various reasons. Just try to move on and focus on your other academics/APs for next year.
When you’re applying to colleges, you self-report your AP scores, so if you don’t like this score, you don’t need to report it.
I know some schools also don’t give credit for AP Human Geo, so if the school you get into is one of them, your score won’t even have much impact on college credits.
I feel the essay grading process is kind of subjective, also a 4 is still a really good score no matter what the AP is

A 4 is an excellent score, and the bottom line is still the same: you’ll get the credits. Don’t be so harsh on yourself.
I agree with @kamah15. You should be proud of your 4. That is above average and will most likely net you college credit! : )
