<p>Hey everyone,</p>

<p>Senior in the UK, going to be applying to US (hopefully) after a gap year for 2009 entry.</p>

<p>Stats: SAT: 2200
SAT II: (Not taken yet but hypothetically lets say its a mid-high tier score.)</p>

<p>GCSE: 3A*'s 6A's 1B
A Level: AAAB</p>

<p>EC's: 1) Founder and chairman of mixed martial arts society
2) Founder and chairman of philosophy and theology society
3) Write articles for school magazine
4) Greco Roman/ Freestyle wrestling (3 trophies from competition)
5) Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (2 trophies from competition)
6) 4 Community services (kindergarten, old peoples home, public school, religious school)
7) Gap year: Traveling to japan where i will attend a Japanese high school and university,to learn Japanese language and about Japanese economics. Also have an internship at Deutsche Bank. After japan, will be travelling to poland to help some underprivileged kids.
8) Member of Amnesty International society.
9) Fencing</p>

<p>Uni's for economics: Harvard princeton yale columbia upenn cornell mit duke stanford berkeley and nyu. </p>

<p>What are my chances everyone?</p>

<p>Btw providing i am planning to apply to around 11 places, would you say its likely i will get a place at least one of these colleges?</p>

<p>fair enough, but its only realistic for me to study in the US instead of the UK if i get admission at one of these places.</p>
