<p>Okay so i just finished my sophomore year of high school. Here are the grades i received: </p>

<p>International Relations Honors: A/A
English II Honors: A/A
Algebra II Honors:A/C (second semester was a nightmare)
AP World History: A/A (5 on the exam)
African American History Honors: A/A
Biology Honors: A/B+
French II: A/A</p>

<p>High school GPA:
Weighted: 4.56
Academic: 4.1
Unweighted: 3.66
Rank: 7th% </p>

<p>EC's:
JV Flag Football
Key Club (10th grade representative)
NHS
120 volunteer hours so far</p>

<p>Next year's schedule:
AP United States History
AP European History
AP English Language and Composition
AP Psychology
Precalculus Honors
Chemistry Honors
French III Honors</p>

<p>I took a lot of advice from you guys last year, and worked really hard to raise my GPA from a 4.3 to 4.5 using your advice. I haven't taken an SAT yet, but i am preparing for the PSAT this fall. Do you have any advice as to what steps I should take next?</p>

<p>You’re doing great! Keep your GPA up, 11th grade is your last chance to raise it a bit, and keep working on your EC’s. Look for any opportunities for “leadership”. Leadership doesn’t have to be a “leadership” position in a club, it can be something as simple as organizing a food drive (or perhaps something related to your volunteer work). </p>
