I have great references from my AP teachers!

So, what are so far my chances at Georgetown?

yeah right–■■■■■?

@lulubird what does “yea right–■■■■■?” mean?

Either you’re lying or you’re putting us all to shame. How could you do all of that in your freshman year?!? Is that even possible?
Plus how do you know you have “great references from my AP teachers” when you’ve only taken AP World as a freshman? Hm…

I looked up a lot of what you wrote down.

All of it is legitimate. You have done some amazing things. Be proud of yourself.

Try for 34/2300, and you could get into the Ivy League.

Hello Everyone,
First of all thank you so much for the replies!!
@CalCool101
-I am not lying about my accomplishments, all of the things I put on this thread are truthful and in my resume. If you don’t believe me, well you can check my organizations website: senhc.org, I don’t lie and sure hope you still don’t think I am. On the other hand, thanks for compliment since I know I am being sincere! I only have one AP teacher this year, but from many clubs I have met AP teachers who I will have that have said will give me great letters for college.

-Thank you so much for looking up my information to prove I am being truthful! I want to extend a big thanks for your kind words! I will aim in trying to get those great scores. Once again, thank you so much for your words! BTW, I love your username, as a debater myself. Glad to see we both enjoy debate!!!

Hey Guys,
I also wanted to add that I was featured on the official website of president Barack Obama for my leading efforts in immigration reform. How will this help me for college?
Thanks!

-I don’t know if I want to take AP chem, will it seriously affect my chances of acceptance to the top tier schools?

That’s in a few years. It would be prudent to wait until closer to that time to make the decision.

I understand what you mean, but I need to make this decision because if I choose to take AP chem, I won’t be able to be in the newspaper, because I can’t take the course.

Please don’t think I was assuming you were lying, just making a simple joke! But wow, IMPRESSIVE resume (one of the best I’ve seen) and with the right test scores, you are certainly a strong candidate for not just Georgetown but any Ivy. Considering these are your freshman stats, I can’t wait to see what you’ll come up with in the upcoming years. And about AP Chem, don’t worry. It’s not like that one AP class will detract from your resume. You know what is in your comfort range and should stick to it. One AP won’t be a deciding factor in the holistic process, especially since your ECs will make up for it for sure!

-Thank you so much for the kind words!!! It really makes me feel confident, I truly appreciate it!

No problem, best of luck! :)
