So for those of us with a 3/25...

none of us have reported an Oasis link...are we taking this as a bad sign?

No, a bad sign would be some getting it, and not being one of them.

But we’re not just saying that those were all the rejections?

i hope not… i think they still have many acceptances to send out… but i’m assuming now they’ll be sending both rejections and acceptances together

yea. so from now on:
small envelope: rejection
big package: acceptance

Unless the 3/25 update is akin to the 3/28 update last year, where the majority were rejections…i’m thinking they did away with the “acted upon” status

can you post the link for last year’s decisions?

i just went back like 80 or so pages in the USC forum…it’s in there somewhere…

i thought there were only 16 pages on the usc forum???

nvmd…(10char)

There’s more than 16 pages?

yeah. there’s a drop down menu where you can choose how far back in time the posts go…i chose the one that is says something like “forever” (i dont remember the exact word haha)

Yeah I just read it all.

This is NOT looking good at all. :(

So last year a bunch of people got an update at the same time then were rejected? Well that’s discouraging…

not the exact same time…

But the same day?

does USC not use a waitlist anymore? apparently they used to…

They do spring admits. So what’s the deal with last year? A bunch of people got updates on the same day and were then rejected?

yes well apparently in 2006 and before they did spring admits AND waitlists…and no, not the same day. just around the same time period…read my earlier post, it said this one was on the 25th, last year the 28th…

they might update again though, i guess they work on saturdays. and of course, this is all just speculation.

ohhhh…unless you meant there were many updates on one day last year, and most of them were rejected. then yes. that’s what happened…

sorry i misread your post!
