So Gruber's is good, right?

Is it good enough that I will be able to learn from it things I don't already know? Not just talking reviewing things I learned in school. Does it give clear and easy to understand explanations of the concepts or is it super advanced?

I am AWFUL at math. And I can't afford a tutor. I did a practice test and scored about 500. I would like to try and get that up to around 650+

Thanks!

no it's a great book for math. You'll love it.

Yep, the math section is really good. It could get frustrating though.

Awesome. If I were to study through it pretty much every day, how long would you say it should take to learn adequately? A month, maybe? 2 months?

The math section is really detailed and from what I've heard harder than the actual thing. If you work on it everyday you could get through everything in a month. But to fully understand all the materials, I'd say give yourself ~ 2 months.

How about CR?

Totally skipped over the cr. It's ...weird. Strategy-wise, you should try barron's 2400 or rocket review for cr. I think I mostly adhered to what barron's 2400 said, and got an 800.

Yeah, Gruber's is very nice for math, but IMO, they're other stuff is just (as velleity said) a little...weird.

Just confirming what everybody else said.

Gruber's is great for math. For CR, Rocket Review + Maximum SAT.
