THANKS for your message atm2013 :-)

So apparently all team admissions are to go out this week

texasboy 1613- is that for sure?

did you call and have them tell you it will be this week? I am also still waiting and its killing me!! Im thinking it may be alphabetical because all the people who have heard about blinn team that I know have last names of about A-F and people with names in the R’s like mine haven’t heard.

I don’t think is Alphabetical order ROBERKAT003. My first name starts with a W, and my Last Name with a U.
I hope you guys hear soon!
Has anyone been accepted with full admission yet?

My AIS portal is still on step 5 too and no emails or letters. My last name does start with a W if ROBERKAT003 is right, though I highly doubt that beacause they read over admissions randomly to cause no bias. I’ve heard from friends on Blinn TEAM now that they were not notified of acceptance until their last week of school (late may). And they said that the latest to be notified is mid june. If texasboy is right, im really nervous.

Forgot to mention that I was admitted to their blinn TEAM program. The notification was gotten over the last week

I’ve already been admitted to Texas A&M Galveston, but i dont know if that should make me feel any better about getting admitted to the TEAM.

hey everyone i messaged the admisssions office today and got the reply below:

Although not all decisions have been made, most of them have been. Please continue to monitor your AIS page as this is where you will see the decision first. It is expected that this process should be completed by the end of this week or early next week.

also, i am pretty sure they don’t do it alphabetically because one of our friends got in to Blinn Team last week and her last name is T.
at least i pray they don’t since ours starts with a F :-)

good luck to all that are still waiting!!!

After many calls to admissions, I heard that there were 1000 spots for blinnTEAM and 800 have already been sent out. Also he said that only 50 Full acceptances have been sent and that would be all of them. I am too really nervous.

Wow. That’s pretty quick then. This is my last week of school without having finals and I cant handle this stress. Whenever ya’ll hear, post it because I guess I’m one of the few who haven’t been decided on. But this forum has been a lot of help so thanks everyone!

If I dont get BlinnTEAM I guess ill be going to TAMUG. I got into TCU but really wanted to be at A&M. This forum has been very useful thanks to everyone.

Im with you texasboy! Im off to TAMUG if nothing goes my way in college station, even though I dont even like Galveston beach and the entire school consists of less students than my highschool. But I’m set on getting to TAMU one way or the other. If we both have no luck, then i’m sure we’ll see each other there!

Haha I look forward to it! I really do hope I get blinn though. My parents want me to do Galveston cause their friends son did it and transferred to business school and they highly recommended it to us.

TCU is very expensive! TCU is 10 mins from home, neat campus.
Y’all, best of lucks!
Texasboy1613 Thanks for the information about the amount of full admittance sent. I was feeling a little bit down even though I was offered the gracious opportunity to participate in the blinn TEAM program.
Please let us know as soon as possible if you get accepted into the program!
and you are right, this forum has been very helpful, and you Texasboy1613 have been very active and helpful too. A lot of thanks to you.

Am I the only parent who’s unimpressed with the way A&M handles this waitlist/Blinn Team thing? Since almost everything involving college admissions seems to run off May 1deadlines to some extent, it forces families to delay decisions, make parallel plans, forfeit deposits and so forth while A&M fiddles around. We’re much happier with the way the admissions process has been handled at my son’s other choice (also a Big 12 school).

It wasn’t convenient for us, either. In fact, the wait almost drove my daughter crazy and she returned the favor to us.

Still, by waiting, they know what the actual yield is from the first round of admissions and can admit more people than they would if they had to cut off admissions on May 1st.

In our case, a late acceptance was definitely preferable to an early rejection.

wepprop
Thank you for your post…crazy has a whole new meaning for us ![]()
my other daughter was blessed to learn her acceptance before christmas (3 years ago)
and she was in the top 15% (strong academics and resume - full admission to Mays program)…what a difference 3 years can make!
thanks again for everyones contribution in this forum.
btw…i received communication from a very reliable source that notices will run thru this Friday and they will be complete so for those of us keep checking that AIS.
ALL THE BEST TO EVERYONE :-)

I’m pretty sure that most if not everyone should hear back on ais by today around 5 or whenever it updates. Best of luck to everyone!

Is that what admissions told you???
