English: Medium/easy.... some weird questions on there... but overall no major issues
Math: Easy for most questions... hard for the select few... did anyone feel there's too much trig in there??? and the sphere in the end got me lost in no time.
Reading: I'm disgusted cause I epic failed it.....
Science: Medium/easy.... only one i finished early =S... but i still missed a few questions (darn you conduction)
Writing: easy... but seriously... what kind of topic is that?

Have you noticed that ACT essay topics aren’t as sophisticated or professional as those of the SAT???
lol and the ACT essay topics usually ask “do you agree or disagree?” while the SAT essay topics ask “What is your opinion on this idea?” ,so I find the ACT essay way easier lol

I nailed the English, but I think I bombed math. I never took Algebra II in high school (I’m going to take it online), so I have to supplement in what I’ve learned in Pre-Cal. Reading was pretty easy, and Science was easy, but I didn’t finish (Random bubbles last 4-5 questions).
The essay was ridiculously easy.

i hate the essays on the ACT…
they’re not hard…theyre just weird and unprofessional…don’t really know what theyre looking for…
i rather make myself sound sophisticated and bring in evidence and stuff rather than just answer with my opinions and common sense stuff…haha, but maybe that’s just me?

Pretty much dominated the English, missed 3 at the most.
Reading was pretty good, probably my second strongest.
Science was decent, but i could not get the Scale experiment for ****. Guess on pretty much that whole part.
Math sucked big timeeee. I’m in AP Eng and APUSH, but just regular Alg. II, despite Math being my best subject going through school. I was ill-prepared, and i really didn’t expect so much Trig and pre-calc…i was clueless.
The writing prompt was extremely easy. I didn’t even have to qualify for a good score. The teachers were basically supporting the infringement upon all democratic and constitutional rights. Pretty sure telling the stations what to show is getting involved in corporate affairs, making it communistic. Also violation of free speech and ethical values.

When you can make a communist argument and a great depression reference (since we’re in a depression at the moment) in the same essay, it’s epic win.

Ok well I took my first ACT in December and got a 30 overall. Had a really bad experience from the Math through the rest of the test pretty much (distracted, nervous, claustrophobic, etc.)
Eng 35 Math 27 Reading 30 Sci 27

So today I took it at my school (the only time my school offers the test is April) and felt so much more comfortable. And it went SO SMOOTH! I was so proud of myself on the Math part lol I think I improved a lot!!
English=easy
Math=went very well for me; found myself moving through the test with ease and in practice tests I would stumble over the hard ones (I legit blind-guessed at least 7 problems on the Dec. ACT). I didn’t feel there was too much trig. In fact I only remember like 2 trig problems.
Reading=easy; think I improved
Science=went well for the first like 10 questions. Then i found myself to be extremely bored and not doing so well lol so this one is a toss-up (isn’t it always?).

English: So easy. I missed three at the most.
Math: While some thought this section was difficult I felt pretty sure on all but about 4. I couldn’t figure out the rocket ship for the life of me. Haha.
Reading: I thought it was fairly easy. I guessed on about 3 and I know I got one wrong so I probably missed about 4-5.
Science: Everything was easy and shown except the comet passage gave me trouble. I think I missed 2-3 of those.
Writing: EXTREMELY EASY. Nuff said.

For a first timer I thought that I did pretty well! I’m hoping for a 33-34 so we’ll see :)!

Reading: Mega Easy except I nearly ran out of time. The ACT pace is fast.

Science: I put radiation+conduction (epic phail). A Cakewalk otherwise.

Math: Epic Phail for me…Been using a TI-89 for a year and the thing really makes you lazy with your algebra skills. Anticipating a lower 30’s score there.

Writing: What a GREAT prompt.

As BigBlue said ,“When you can make a communist argument and a great depression reference (since we’re in a depression at the moment) in the same essay, it’s epic win.”

I also included the fallacy in their argument about viewer choice…No one has to watch the educational programming. Overall I thought the essay was a great way to end.

I guess I’m not the only one that went on a rant about how government shouldn’t be able to interfere in the free enterprise system. The main test was so hard, I guess they felt they had to hand us an insanely easy essay.

English: Much better! Last time i got 24 so tis should definitely rocket up to 31+
Math: I missed one…stupid sine graph…and im in bc calc…■■■
Reading: Much better than last time hoping for 31+
Science: Went well…there was like no bio…thank god…i hate bio…hoping for 31+ last time i got 26 and i blind guessed 6 questions…

Essay: I thought it went better than last time…the last time i thought i bombed it and got a 10…so thats aight

hoping for a 32+ but i’ll be fine with a 31…lol im dreaming BIG

Checking with consensus answers, it’s looking quite good for me.
So far, perfect in math-36
1 off in science-35? 34?
Very good in the other two.

I’m feeling quite confident. I’m hoping for a 35 composite.

English - 1 wrong so far that I know of, I’ll go ahead and give myself 3 wrong to be sure. 33-34
Math - Probably like 7, lols. 30.
Reading - 1 or 2. 34-35
Science - I really feel like I got all of them. 35-36
33-34 composite, I assume. <_<
What I thought:
English - Not bad at all.
Math - Some were kind of difficult (math isn’t my thing, though, so…)… overall… so-so.
Reading - Very easy.
Science - SUPER easy. I wasn’t unsure about any of my answers. Of course I probably had erroneous thoughts/stupid mistakes.
