Hello all,

Please I have been accepted as a sophomore transfer into Tufts' School of Arts and Sciences AND I will most likely be majoring in Cognitive and Brain Sciences. Also I'm a premed hopeful. Please, can you analyze the difficulty based on

Grades, especially grade deflation (is it hard to keep a good GPA at Tufts)

Coursework and Homework (in terms of time, amount/amount of papers etc.)

Scheduling (good or bad i guess)

Chemistry and Biology as majors will also be ok with me too( My acceptance letter didnt specify any major but these are three I selected on my Tufts supplement during application)..Please I have only two weeks to decide between Tufts and Cornell's CHE Human Biology, Health and Society..Please help..............

any help??? bumpppp…

…

Wow i’m in a similiar situation and really wish there were cog sci majors out there to answer these questions. I’m worried about the GPA…

no idea how hard it is, but I think Dan Dennett (in the Philosophy Dept.) teaches some cognitive science classes and he’s a world renowned thinker/a pretty interesting dude

I know this is a very late reply, but honestly, come here expecting to work hard and you’ll be okay. Classes are very tough but manageable as long as you’re an intelligent person. Don’t come here looking for an easy 4 years.
