I got accepted to Knox College and I actually want to attend there. But I'd like to hear some comments from students of Knox College.
Do you like attending there?
Does Knox College actually give amazing education like a lot of students say?
Is it boring in Galesburg or do you actually find a lot of things to do?
Also, do a lot of Koreans attend the school? How did you convince your parents that it's a good school?

Knox is a great school with a lot of student activities run by and for students. It is personalized, the profs love teaching there and it shows. Depending on what your interests are will depend on what you will do and how much interaction you will have with the town. Perhaps you can look up the different graduation speakers and share that with your parents, Knox is known for some amazing speakers from all professions. President Obama has been there two or three times since becoming President, other Presidents also. The professors really want to teach there and if you look up what the professors backgrounds are I’m pretty sure your parents will be impressed.

Hi Sanguine,
I’m also an international student and I actually do really love it here. Whilst I’ve been here I’ve always been able to find fun and interesting projects to do, I took an opera workshop class and joined the swim team, toured Spain and sung in Carnegie Hall with the choir. The classes are definitely challenging, and also very interesting, and because the classes are small you have more personal relationships with your professors and that always motivates me to work harder. There’s always something going on on the weekends, events organised by Union Board like a snowboarding and skiing trip. Union Board has also brought in comedians, and dance troupes. There’s also Jazz Night every Thursday at a bar barely even 5 minutes off campus, I can’t really say how many Koreans there are here, but I do know a fair few. As far as my parents were concerned, Knox does have a good reputation and very high standards so I didn’t really have to convince them.

Let me know if you have any other questions.^_^.
