i'm applying to 9 or 10.... is that too much? i want to have some options...

I'm applying to 9. It was 10, but Yale didn't make the final cut.

So far i know for sure about six of them- but I will probably apply to 8 or 9. I still have to think of some safeties!

i'm applying to 11

I'm doing stanford EA, if I get in, then I'm applying only to 2 others (you can guess which ones)...If I don't then I'm applying to 10 schools

20 schools

Yale didn't make my final cut either! I have 8. I would prefer to apply to 5 or 6, but I need money (I have more safetys than I need for fin. reasons).

What can someone do if they apply to all the schools they want but get rejected by them all? Can they still apply to a state university?

20 schools sounds a little much...

Originally I had 11...then I got it cut down to 9...I really did not believe I could cut it down anymore, and now have it at 6. I could narrow it down to 4, but it's one of those "well, they're free apps, might as well try and see how much money I can get..."

I've already applied to 2 (my safeties because they don't require an essay). Honestly, I know where I want to go, but I won't find out about that until April, so I'm applying EA to one school, and regular to the other two.

Can anyone say "YESSSSSS" to rolling? That is my friend that keeps me from jumping into the deep end.

Rolling is my friend. Because of rolling I won't be stressing so much once hopeful acceptances happen :D

7, 8 if I can't convince my dad to drop Case Western.

ummm my list has 10 schools but so far ive only got around to 3.. i think ill make it to 5 maybe if i get really motivated but i doubt it

is the only draw back to applying to too many schools the fact that it is really expensive and that it takes alot of time doing all the apps and essays and etc.?

im applying to 13, Duke ED

interesting. when i asked my classmates, the most they say is around 4 or 5. I felt like I was going way overboard. but i feel better now =) yea, the thing that keeps me from applying to more colleges is not the app fees, but the time constraints - even with common app, i feel kinda bad about bothering my teachers for more recs, lol...

all of my friends are only applying to 3...except for one friend who is applying to music conservatories and has 13 on her list. We felt like the odd ones, but ha! We aren't!

7, app fees are too expensive

1, yeah, that's right, count it! haha... That is, if I get in! If I don't, then, 5 or 6 more...

I was going to apply to Georgetown until I realized it was not online. I hate paper apps! Although i really want to apply to Gtown this is totally putting me off.
