so how was it?

did any of yall go to the multicultural festival? how was it? how was the campus? what did they have yall doing? how was your host? HOWS THE FOOD? was the tour nice? how are the rooms? do they have carpet or hardwood? that last question is very pertinent bcuz its between me getting a regular swifer sweeper or a swifer carpet flick. and i cant waste my money on a carpet flick to get there and see that i need the regular sweeper. thats just wrong.

yargg did u go?.................yargg?

Beginning to wish I had gone. I was invited, but don't generally think of myself as multicultural (I'm half Iranian, half American, but focus on the American side). I did, however, see a dorm up there when I went to the spring reception. They're alright, very standard. The kids say the food is like all other college food: not good. I love the campus...uphill, lovely architechture.
Hard wood, I think, but don't quote me. I wasn't concentrating on the floor.

iranian and american. thats pretty. the food isnt good? damn. see. my other school i got into is uga (but i didnt wanna stay in state) and they have the number one college food in the country. ive eaten there plenty of times so idk how im gonna deal with the cuse food. im sure it cant be all that bad. what makes a dorm room standard? the campus is hilly? dammit. im lazy too. and the floor is hardwood so im getting the sweeper. but if i get there and see carpet...im tracking u down.

Hey I didn't go to the multicultural weekend, but i did go on a Campus day (and got an Orange Squeezy). The dorm I saw was Flint, and a regular double was...very small. If you check out the virtual tours of the dorms and you point it at the floor and circle you can see the edge of the chair and other items...so there's not very much space at all. (I don't remember where I saw the virtual tour...somewhere online.) sigh in the University of Michigan you can actually fit a couch (or 2!)...:'(. Also, when I went into the shower there was paint peeling off the pipes on the cieling. Definately not the best dorms ever.

Spoiled! man guys, it's a dorm, not a room at the Plaza. My dorm at Emory was pretty big for a dorm (still no room for a couch), and it had a sink- I thought that was way above what a dorm needed to be. Of course, it was always either freezing cold or humid, and by humid I mean I had to thow out a pair of satin heels because they grew mold. Still, I don't expect even that much from a dorm, it's just as the name implies: a place to sleep.

Oh and by standard I mean two beds, two desks, not enough closet space, and a window.

i need major closet space. i just cant change my clothes by seasons. look @ where i live.
