Rob I mean. Like I just omitted 2. Didn’t answer so technically not wrong.

Oh, so you mean you got them all right except for two of them which you omitted? In that case your CR would be probably a 75-78.

EDIT: Here’s my guess for the curve if anyone wants it. I was predicting an average CR curve, harsh M curve, and slightly less forgiving W curve.

-N CR M W
-0 80 80 80
-1 79 75 76
-2 76 72 73
-3 74 70 71
-4 73 69 70
-5 72 67 68
-6 70 65 66
-7 68 64 65
-8 67 62 63
-9 65 60 62

@biovball: I’d modify Rob’s estimate to the following:

CR: 79-80 (usually 80)
M: 80
W: 76-79

So, 235-239 composite.

That high for CR. if that’s true… I’d be the happiest kid alive
Crap I answered it wrong. I got 2 questions WRONG along with 2 questions OMITED.

The first reading section I was short on time, and rushed through questions that regard both passages. The math sections were fine, I guessed on two, but I could have misread the questions. The second reading section wasn’t as time pressed, but I have trouble understanding two of the passages. As for the writing section, there were like five questions that either I could not find an error or I had to choose between two answer choices. Preparing for the worst, it could be around 190.

Is the psat easier then the SAT?

Sent from my SPH-D710 using CC

The PSAT has slightly easier questions than the SAT, apparently. I think Math is the main section where questions are easier. HOWEVER, since the test has less questions, it actually ends up being a bit harder for some in that there is less forgiveness if you miss a few questions. (whereas on the SAT missing 1 math question might not drop your score at all, on the PSAT it very well might drop it 5 points) For some this isn’t a problem, but for those who have a tendency to make careless mistakes, it can be a bit annoying. That’s just my take, I haven’t taken the SAT in a long time so maybe I’m wrong about my comparison.

Hey guys what do you think the PSAT cutoff is going to be? Just estimating from the difficulty of the test and stuff
