<p>My daughter is visiting UNC this weekend and we are wondering what to pack. Ok, to be honest, my daughter is worried about looking ridiculous wearing her winter jacket and Uggs! She is from South Florida and the forecast, with lows near 50, is winter weather to her. She should be warm enough in the evening with layers topped with a sweatshirt, but will she look out of place wearing Uggs? Thanks!</p>

<p>I hear ya blue_box! We have had a ton of rain here also, courtesy of Tropical Storm Nicole. Fortunately, we have not had any flooding here. Hopefully the rain will be gone by Saturday in time for the football game!</p>

The high is like 72 so I don’t think she will need Uggs, but I have seen a few people wearing them in the last week, so she wouldn’t be out of place either.</p>

<p>My daughter flies out first thing in the morning and we just checked the forecast, high of 78, much better than earlier predictions of 70. Looks like it will be a beautiful fall weekend, enjoy!</p>
<p>you guys should just bring thin jackets/sweater-type tops. Honestly, it kindda seems that the buildings are colder than outside temps lol. Uggs are fine to wear if rain comes about. However, at this weather, comfy slippers/sandals would run excellent for your tours. Frankly, NC ppl are in a florida swing right now, so even shorts and t-shirts would be completely fine if you decide to bring some.
It really isn’t that cold, but lately the temperatures have been dropping. This morning it was chilly when I opened my window–better bring some semi-warm clothes if I were you. But come afternoon, it was warm. Maybe that might be a good indication for you all. This week seems so unpredictable…</p>
<p>Thanks Polobear! My daughter arrived yesterday morning and said the weather was beautiful. She bought a sweatshirt before the game, so it must have been a little bit cool. She had a great time at the game, nice win by the way! And she loves Carolina!</p>
