So I accidentally found the log in page.

I'm not posting it here because I'm actually kind of scared since I don't want to breach any security or something. The chance that a message saying that decisions will be out on the 29th at 5PM is very high, but personally, I don't want to risk anything.

With that being said, you can find the login link by looking though the source HTML of the notify.princeton.edu page and using a bit of creativity. I take absolutely no responsibility for what you do with it.

As proof of having found the page, I have taken a screenshot: http://img181.imageshack.us/img181/622/princeton2011admissiondpq7.png

Now go ahead and come up with the usual speculation and conspiracy theories that we always think up :)

Um sorry to burst your bubble but the link is posted publicly on the status page.

https://puwebq.princeton.edu:7230/index.html

Oh wow, I feel kinda dumb now :P

I was looking at https://puwebp.princeton.edu:7230/index.html and saw that they had sealed it off. I wonder why they have so many subdomains.

whoamg, you haven't set up your initial account yet?

Anyways, I would NOT suggest "accidentally finding" the site and logging-in. Don't you all remember last year's NYU controversy?

Guys, it's only a week left! Just ride it out...

I wondering how he got the Username and Password login to show up on there, I think someone's been doctoring images!

I can't find it.....

wow i wonder who will be the first to try it.

Double-post, I just tried to log in and it said "Invalid username or password" so I guess that the front-end isn't linked with the database yet.

you had an account before right? hmmm oh well. there goes our little scam

No, I didn't doctor any images, except for a quick crop in Photoshop, which I use because it gives better PNG compression than Paint.

Well, if it doesn't work, no harm in posting the link. I'm curious where my fate will come from.

mallomar's link works.. im just too afraid to enter my data

https://puwebq.princeton.edu:7230/uad/login.jsp

Amusez-vous...

If anyone skipped my post: I entered in my own username and password that I had used to check my application status before. This time, I got an error saying that my username/password is invalid. This most likely means that the system is not set up yet.

who's trying now?

One of my friends just tried it, it says Decision not available. No big deal. It's not hacking or anything because the link is right there on the status page. Nothing to be afraid of, guys!

Edit: Well, my username/password doesn't work either, and it says my email is invalid. I agree, it must not be fully functional yet. The website says my email doesn't match their records, but that can't be right, because I got Princeton's online decision email a couple days ago in my email account.

Well, I would like to retract my previous statement, and apologize to the initial poster. However, I do recommend that no one attempt to login, as this would only create unnecessary controversy. May as well wait...I mean, you've waited this long, whats another week!

Oooo... to add to the mystery of it all: when I tried to recover my username/password using the username/password recovery links, it didn't work. In fact, it said that my username was not registered with the database. I changed the subdomain to puweb*p*.princeton.edu and then I could get my username sent to me.

I'll go register a username on the other database(?) so that whichever one is used for the real decision will work.

EDIT: ...just tried that. Says that my email and PIN aren't found. I guess they split up the databases or something

Huh. interesting. I'll try that because my username came up as invalid too. I dont intend to check my decision. I just want to get my login info straight because right now it's invalid.

I was deferred ED and I could never register my pin/email with the application checker database, so I don't know if I'll be able to check my decision online :(. I tried calling Princeton and they said someone would email me about it, but nobody has. The strange thing is that they sent me an email about the online decisions, so my email is in the database somehow. Maybe they messed up my pin.

OK, finally got my login and password straightened out using the puwebp domain (or whatever it is). I don't really know or care about the decision login site right now...it looks like it's not functional right now anyway.
