1) I have no idea what Stern is, is that like some super major / college for NYU?
2) My friend who got into NYU is a major slacker, probably didn't get into your "stern" (if thats competitive). But hes been pulling low C-'s in several classes the entire senior year especially after he was accepted for early decision. They haven't rescinded him, and I dont think they will.

B- is your lowest grade? I know people who get C's and dont get rescinded from CAL berkeley...

tkd2009, Stern is NYU's business school and is one of the top three undergrad business schools in the country, so yes, it is by your definition "some super major / college for NYU."

I don't think they'd rescind you but it would raise an eyebrow. I think you'll be fine so quit freaking out, take in the feeling that you were admitted into such a prestigious school in the first place and just enjoy your summer.

Stop worrying and enjoy your summer!
Your acceptance to a college is usually contigent upon satisfactory completion of your courses...which means passing your classes and at most of the colleges satisfactory completion means getting C-/C and above.

I'm surprised at all the people who didn't note the TCs sarcasm, guess with some of the ridiculous questions asked here sometimes its not too surprising, but I would have thought the 4 question marks in the title and the ZOMG would have tipped most people off.

you're fine. they may rescind when you go from straight As to straight Ds or failing. a couple of Bs here and there second semester of senior year is expected and not a big deal :)

Some of you people are crazy. Even straight C's won't get you rescinded. OP, kids get into Stern w/ the grades you dropped this year. Don't fret.

You're fine. Stern is a great business school, so congrats on getting in! It's definitely one of the top ten biz schools in the country (maybe not top three)
