<p>Why even bother applying to Georgetown if it's that low on your list? You'll surely get into the mid tier UC's before Gtown.</p>

LA, i understand, it's a preference... but man..

<p>I know this is kinda late, but umm, pinkerfloyd, just because Berkeley is the top public school in the nation does not mean that it should be at the top of everyone's list. UCSD's bioengineering program is one of the top, for example. You also have to consider their individual programs, not just the name of the school.</p>
