<p>I went into my interview with the wrong perspective. Prior to being interviewed, I researched WashU and spoke to alot of people who went there about it. Instead of asking more questions and getting to know WashU better (which is the purpose of these interviews), I ended up seeming like an uninteresting and uninterested student...</p>

<p>Did you actually interview with an admissions rep? If your interview was conducted by a student, the interview itself will probably show that you're adequately interested in the school, even if you came off as uninterested. Don't worry too much. Plus, you could always do an alumni interview to maybe compensate for whatever you felt was lacking the first time around.</p>
