So I didn't get an interview...

Is it safe to assume no interview= no admission? I'm not really familiar with with Columbia's style of admisisons.

No, it isn't safe to assume that.

<a href="http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=145237%5B/url%5D">http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=145237</a></p>

Don't worry about it... i called columbia last month, cuz nobody contacted me for the interview, and of course, i was freaking out... and i knew everyone else who applied from my school had had their interviews already - even people who applied later than i did... anyway, the admissions person said that half the kids they accept don't get interviews, so.

i never got an interview and i received a likely letter last week from SEAS... so go figure

Same situation here: no interview, likely letter.

I could kiss you.

Perfectly natural. Columbia is only able to interview about half of the applicants.
