I have a slight chance at an appeal. This involves convincing a teacher to let me add a class within the last two weeks of the semester and letting me test out...this is pretty unlikely but there is a SLIGHT chance.

If this doesn't work I have two options.

One is just sucking it up and going to UCSB and getting my undergrad there. I'm kinda reluctant to take this path for two reasons.
A. I don't know anyone there all my friends are at either UCSD, UCSC, UCD, UCB, UCR and UCM. Basically everywhere except for UCSB and UCLA. =/
B. Everyone talks about how crazyyyyy the parties are at Santa Barbara and I know I'd get caught up in the whole party scene and take it wayy too far (like I did in high school, which is part of the reason I'm going to a CCC in the first place!)

The second is doing the semester abroad. Since I'm only 1.75 units behind and I'm already planning on taking 6 units over the summer. I'd basically be finished with everything I need not only to transfer but also for my majors before even starting the fall semester! I've always wanted to do a semester abroad and this may be a blessing in disguse. Being a transfer student doing two complete different majors I don't think I'll ever get another chance to do a semester abroad. Everyone tells me the UC's are really good with their study abroad programs but even though my CC offers it, I've never heard of anyone doing it from a CC.
There are two local CC's that offer these programs and I take classes at both (one I haven't taken classes at but its in the same district so same thing).
Have any of you done semesters abroad or known anyone who has?
These are the two programs I'm considering:
Cosumnes River College
and
Study Abroad

Anyone suggestions, opinions, advice?

I guess I'm just trying to stay optimistic under the given circumstances at this point!
