I just applied to a couple csu's just incase. But the application prcoess was so simple. I didnt even put all my classes i took. And i just punched in what my gpa is. So how do they determine if you get in?? do they even look at ur transcript? Also i made a small mistake where i said i completed 43 units. When in reality i completed 54. I didnt count the non-transferable classes (I had UC tag app on my mind). Would it even matter if I made that mistake? Also I forgot to include I took one class at a sister community college. Would that matter as well?

I’ve heard it said here a few times that CSU acceptance is more mechanical. I was surprised at the simple application as well. I got accepted for spring to one. I forgot to report a class as well.

CSUs do not have the large admissions staffs that UCs have but get a huge number of applications which requires them to automate the admissions process as much as possible. No human will read your application at a CSU, it will go straight to a computer that calculates your GPA and on the basis of that generates a form letter of acceptance or rejection. It is best to report all courses taken and schools attended. While the CSUs do not have the resources the UCs have to ferret out applicants who did not submit their entire academic histories, there is always the chance they will find out and revoke your admission.

how do we ask them to change something if we have a mistake on the application?
