So I got my results back in today. It was definitely a bad date to take the subject tests in general, totally unprepared for what was on the test, still shocked from the death of a friend (this part I don’t think I should share on my college app, it’s a sob story enough as is.) I’m taking them again in November and rushing them for ED. I’ll also self-study as AP Physics 1 didn’t really prepare me at all for taking the subject test.
College of Engineering (ECE) future ED applicant here, what are my chances? Also should note I’m a Hispanic American citizen in Texas.

I’ve got two great recs lined up, one from my Computer Science teacher who’ll talk about my facility for the sciences, and another from my favorite English teacher who’ll talk about my transformation as a person. Thinking of asking my AP Physics teacher from last year to write me one, but I know they’re very generic. At the same time, I think I should show that I’m not bad at Physics, I was just tripped by the amount of material I had never seen before.
So, what are my chances? Is the third rec a good idea or not? Thanks for taking the time to read!
