so i had a dream...

about 3 weeks ago that i got into princeton.

hopefully it was a sign. haha

we all had big dreams at one point or another...

:D :D :D

I HAVE A DREAM!! That aaaallll the little stressed students of the world can come together and enter the college of their dreams. I HAVE A DREAM!! That the might stream of justice will flow mightily into their mailboxes in the form of a 9x12 envelope. I HAVE A DREAM!! That college admissions people and anxious students will one day join hands and sing the collegiate spiritual, "IN AT LAST, IN AT LAST, THANK GOD ALMIGHTY, WE ARE IN AT LAST!!!"

you mean, "IN AT LAST, IN AT LAST..."

HAHAHAHAHAHA I edited that in. very nice! I laugh everytime I read that :)

I feel so appreciated :)
Your post was genius.

haha.. princeton luther king

well, to be honest (and not being mean), dreams usually predict the opposite of what will happen...(my friend, who applied to Stanford EA, had a dream that she got rejected, but she actually got in.) So the worse the dream is, the better the reality is going to be.

Not always true. I had a rather vivid and nasty nightmare about being rejected from Cambridge (complete with vampire-bat rejection letters and all. My subconscious is a bit worrying, really), and was rejected two days later. ;)

haha.. hope Noldo's right for I've been having good dreams lately.

I've been moderately free of dreams lately. :)

Of course, I've been moderately free of sleep lately as well. :p

I've been free of dreams for several weeks now...is this a good or a bad sign? ;)

Yep, I've been rather deprived in the sleep department as well. I blame the heat, the mosquitoes, and the excited stress. (In that order!)

I had a vivid dream about opening the letter in my kitchen, seeing the orange and black shield and going crazy. Kind of weird, since I'll be checking decisions online, but hey...

I had a dream that Princeton sent me a rejection on a sticky note, saying that I wasn't good enough to waste a whole sheet of paper on...

I haven't been dreaming about Princeton lately, but around the time when the decisions for ED came out I woke up a few times thinking I was in Princeton.. and was sorely disappointed to realize that I was still in my Floridian bed.

I haven't dreamed about Princeton since before ED decisions came out. Back then I dreamed that I dreamed that I got into Princeton, woke up from the first dream, got into Princeton, and then woke up for real. Needless to say, I was quite disappointed to wake up, and subsequently get deferred :(

I usually dream about something after it's actually happened, which is pretty weird. For example, if I get into Princeton (oh wait I'm daydreaming right now) I'll keep dreaming that it's still before the decision time or that I didn't get in for days afterwards... Anyway that's just my psyche acting crazy again. All of this to say, I haven't dreamed about any of it until now.

I know what you mean. Fortunately, whenever I worry about something, I do poorly the first time and do well the second time, at least for SATs. Maybe Princeton will be the same.

By the way I loved your MLKesque speech :)
