short! I think, it was about 30 minutes. I don't know what to make of it... he said all kinds of good things about me he's like "oh that's admirable"and etc. we left on a good note i think... i don't know, what do you think? he seemed in a hurry to leave somewhere, but he sent me an email afterwards saying how it was a great meeting me, or is that typical?

Sounds like a good interview, he probably gave you a good write-up and it won't detract from your app. at all (probably give you a little boost).

It doesn't seem to be a 'superfantabulous-great' interview, but at this point all I'm hoping for is to be in the same situation as you. Congrats for surviving! :)

lol, "admirable"? you must have done some pretty amazing things, wanna share with us?

the email is a good sign.

my admirable-ness XD (i love making words) was my philosophy of education.. not anything particular i did. it was cool because he did his undergrad at my local university (which is not in the united states). hehe i bought him coffee XD overall it seemed it was pretty cool but like, after reading all you CCers posts, it seems that my interview was rather short. but i think it's all good so far, i was rather short in describing my academics because no one wants to hear you brag about yourself -_- (at least that's what i believe) so i kept my description of my academic and extra curricular life to a bear minimum... basically touching on only some of the things... not everything because princeton has my application and can see everything i do... i essentially talked about my two major sports and my involvement in a disaster relief club i've founded. i'm kinda kicking myself about forgetting to mention my piano (which is pretty major) but i did mention my research passion at the local university laboratory.. yup it was cool... not too long of an explanation, i just liked talking to him, it was more of a casual conversation than question and answer period.

i hope this is a good thing

Sounds pretty great actually -- short, succint, and upbeat. If I was an interviewer, those kinds of interviews would be my favorite.

i hunger for an interview now lol. i feel so left out. i can't wait :)

so, it's good!

i want to be an interviewer so all my kids buy me coffee

lol interviewing takes a lot of time and effort, and its all volunteer work. so i don't think coffee will be worth it, unless you derive some sort of personal satisfaction from helping out.

haha awesome

wow lucky. my interview was 1 hour 20 minutes long O_O

Wait which country are you in, RBTrix?

lol not in the united states!

pk, same here...
