So I have it from a low source within UCLA that...

FeeFee asked the following: This is sort of a random question, but if I was one of the first people who could see my FAFSA summary, then should I also be one of the first people who can see two columns?

what does anyone know about this?

Two columns implies that you have been admitted and have the option to choose SIR.

cheeser, u werent the first guy to see the FA summary… u were the first amongst us to check the FA summary… all of us who can see FA summary, out FA got updated on the 17th as mentioned… so theres no “race” as such

lol @ loop

Read chesser’s post again :)

I and my buddy share the same account.
He also happens to acheive some pride in falunting his immaturity.
disregard him

LoopInc I wish you luck for tomorrow evening, lets all hope we can have 2 columns sooner than later.

Ty man
Same2u

still three, what time we expect it to change?

^^^
@ URSA we have 3 columns, the second one being the FA summary, which we can access, but is not updated.
We should b elooking fwd to access the other 2.
Maybe tonight or tomorrow morning, or the the day after.
FASHO

Yeah, it won’t be till this evening and even then it won’t be everyone.

How is it going to update tonight if the system wont be down until tomorrow morning it says from 1am-6am?

They don’t need to take the system down to update individual accounts. UCLA students use this service as well, do you think everytime they need to change their billing status the system goes down?

O I did not know they would do it individually. It seems like there is so many to do that they would take it down and upload a big batch.

The thing with URSA is we arn’t meant to be on it yet… so it doesn’t matter to them how fast or slow they do it. They just want all the SIRs to be up by the time they do the official admits. That page will then direct everyone to URSA to do their SIR. They may do a huge batch when the system goes down, it would make sense, but its gonna be an ongoing process. Some people don’t get a change in URSA literally until an hour before their decision. (I have asked my friend so many questions about this, as I wanted to be really in the know of when to expect a word from UCLA)

Well good if we can see it tonight, so it means that if we see FA we are FOR SURE in.

He didn’t say anything about FA… but that seems to be the board consensus… I’m still a little weary of FA… just cause I know its seperate from admissions, but it would be strange that they would bother processing it and uploading it only to decline you… but you never know, only way to know for sure is when you get the SIR!

I myslelf really do not rely on FA.
It just serves me as a peace of mind.

^ agreed, but still, it’s strange… the FA hack is substantiated by exactly the type of empirical evidence that i tend to require to buy into something… and now, given that evidence, i’m still not sold… is this what it feels like to be a creationist?

Well **** then I hope I see my SIR tonight! I on the other hand am relying completely on FA because I can see it. If I couldn’t… I wouldn’t trust it.

^hahaha, well, as has been said, not seeing it is NOT an indication of rejection.
