So I have the ACT on Tuesday and I haven't done anything at all...

The state of NC is requiring all juniors to take the ACT on Tuesday. However, I haven't prepared at all. Should I skip it, take the next 2 weeks to prepare, and take it on March 20th (the make up date)? I did a practice test over the weekend and wasn't too satisfied with my results: 29 math, 29 science, 31 English, 30 reading, and I went over the time limit for science but decided to finish anyways.

I have a 2100 SAT (and I'm taking it again on Saturday, which is one of the main reasons I haven't prepared for this ACT), and some people say the ACT is easier, but after going through that one practice test it certainly doesn't feel that way. So would the extra two weeks help me a lot if I prepare, or should I just suck it up and hope for the best? Is the ACT a test that I can take easily with no preparation?

I have it tomorrow too. and i’m not even sure how to prepare for it.

I hope someone could effectively answer this. My brother is taking the ACT tomorrow also, and the practice test he did wasn’t so hot. So far he has studied at a minimal these past few days with no previous studying.

i am the same way , so i cant answer this sorry

Taaake it. It’s free, isn’t it? If you mess up, don’t send the score. Don’t prolong it. I’m a senior in NC and jealous of your opportunity.

We have it in Kentucky tomorrow, too. Good luck to everyone.

Same here! Is the curve supposed to be lenient or harsh on state act exams?

Sent from my HTC using CC

Depends on your state? I would assume the curve would be harsher in New Hampshire than in kentucky. Just saying.

It probably depends on the test and how students do state-wide.
