when i take the practice tests should i break them into sections and do them timed separately,or should i just take it all at once? i plan on retaking the ACT on september 15.

anyone????????

For my daughter it was more challenging when she did the whole thing ( actually she tried to do the whole thing but ended up doing the math and essay at sepearate times.)

Do it all at once if you can (assuming you're talking about taking one of the practice tests) so it's more realistic.

If you can, it's always best to do practice tests under realistic test conditions. My mom's friend studies testing (as a science) and that's what she recommends.

I guess it just depends on what you wanna do. I would reccomend breaking the test up section by section at first, especially with the non-accurate books such as Barron's or PR (too hard vs. a bit too easy) because this allows to figure out your weaknesses so that you can improve upon one section if your having trouble with it, for me it was reading so i just took the Barron's Reading section test.
Then, once you've maximized your score in each section, do whole tests from accurate books like the Real ACT.
Hope that helped :)
