So I just submitted my housing application...

I honestly had no idea that I was supposed to sign up as early as August of LAST YEAR! I guess I was just too excited reading the acceptance letter that I forgot about the brochure -_-
Anyways, I heard that there is a waiting list for housing but I am not sure how well that is going to work out. Any thoughts, ideas, or suggestions? I read that housing contracts have been offered as late as August so that's a plus.

You can also look into the off campus dorms run by Trimark for a last resort
Windsor house and Ivy house
On campus is better, but might be next best bet if do not want to get Apt. first year
a girl I know who lived there thought it was ok…

Awe ok…well I’m hoping that I’ll get a contract. Thanks for the suggestions though!

But I have some other questions as well if you don’t mind me asking. When I applied I chose Pre-med (Undecided) as my major, but on the app it never asked what college inside of UF I wanted to apply to. Are they just assigned automatically based on the major? And is it possible to change colleges as of now?

When you go to orientation/preview that’s when you declare a major…the major you put on your application is almost irrelevant…you can change your major at almost any time until you make a decision

Thanks for clearing that up jfarley17!
