....and it was pretty nice. the business building is PHENOMENAL! :) my main objection was the lack of dorms, but i probably should have done my research before going-i didn't realize it was such a commuter school.

definitely worth a visit, if you're interested :)

That’s my main concern about going to this school, the commuter status. But hopefully I will end up with a single dorm room (hopefully not full!) because I really really want to live on campus, and not share a room with someone haha.

when would you be going there? cause our tour guide told us they are constructing a brand new dorm with 1000 beds that will be up and running for fall 2011.

Will be visiting the campus for sure during my Spring Break! Anyone else attending CSUF that isn’t around the area? (I’m up in Norcal, and will be attending this upcoming fall!)

i visited both and definitely liked Fullerton WAY better!
just not into the whole commuter lifestyle, i’d like to be able to live where i go to school.

It’s… pretty nice. I really like the peaceful atmosphere of the campus and it’s also quite big lol. I would have almost gotten lost if I did not ask anyone. -_-;

Post #3 mentions a new dorm that will double on-campus students. Can someone confirm? Also, with close to 2,000 residents will they be opening a dining hall?

Yeah, it’s true. There will be more like 1,800 spots if you want a more exact figure. And they’re going to open up a dining hall and meal plans available to I think everybody.

I lived in the dorms my freshman year and it was quite a trip.
The new dorms will have a meal plan but be warned that living on campus has one major draw back and that is people who dont go to csuf will have to pay $8 to visit you unless its under 30mins!
Any questions?
Btw, you need to have at least 12 units and if you happen to drop a class they can kick you out of the dorms!
