Here is my senior schedule at a new school, if i choose to attend for my senior year.

AP Lit
AP Spanish
AP Bio
gov't/econ
Honors Precalc
AP enviro sci OR AP Stat OR Honors Physics

Ok, so basically this was my schedule before, but then I realized that I may want to cut one of the honors/ap, and that would be honors precalc.

so I have asked before, Honors precalc or AP stat, and it was overwhelmingly honors precalc to take, but if i take honors down to regular, would it be better to take ap stat or regular precalc?

ANNNNNNNNNNND, you see all of those OR's up there? What would you recommend looks best to colleges?

Also, and you definitely dont have you answer all of these questions, but am i making a mistake by dropping one of the honors/aps?

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! any help is greatly appreciated

ps. im looking at schools like ucla and ucb etc.

dude, if you don't take precalc, when you get into the college you're gonna have to take it, and THEN move on to calculus. also, most of the colleges i've looked at have been like, we like math up to calculus.

I'd pick Honors Physics, because you already have 3 APs, and physics is kind of cool.

Definitely take precalc, no doubt about it. I would highly recommend physics as well. If you're going to be a science major, then you should definitely take physics.

definitely take pre-calc, honors or not; without it, certain colleges might look down on you, even if everything else is good. 3 APs are plenty, especially with a couple honors classes too. As for choosing between AP enviro sci, AP stat, or honors physics, choose whatever is most related/closest to your projected major (if you want to major in science, take 2 science classes etc.)

Pre-calculus. There is no competition. Yes, AP Stat is an AP class, but you need pre-calculus at least if you want to be competitive. AP Stat is like icing on a cake while Pre-calculus is the essence.

If your school gives GPA weight to honors, and you can handle it, and you belong in the more advanced group (even if they don't weight the grades), take honors. If you need to drop down, though, do it. I think that the UC schools are very quantitative, so if they are your goal your UW grades are really important (and I believe when they recalc your GPA - look this up to verify my information - they only give you you a certain number of bumps for honors/AP/IB classes).
