<p>Ok I logged in and go past the terms of service page for both cornell and duke. Cornell when i log in at the bottom of the main page says my application was submitted 9/26/09. When i log in for Duke, it says my application was submitted on 3/24/10. I obviously submitted it much earlier than this. </p>
<p>Could this disparity in dates mean something? any insight?</p>
<p>The word “submitted” here means when the decision was entered onto the database, I assume, rather than when you submitted. It seems that submitted dates are all in blocks, hence, decisions entered at the same time.</p>
<p>For your Cornell application, I would guess that the decision has not yet been entered, hence the stale date (maybe a set-up artifact?).</p>
<p>I would not worry too much. Of course, I have no doubt in my mind that you will be checking the Cornell page frequently/periodically/obsessively between now and 4/1 to see if the submitted date changes.</p>
