I realized this today. Would colleges I've already applied to generally be willing to look at a revised version? Should I send this by e-mail or by mail?

You should just call in to check. I faxed in revised short answers and they accepted them. Are you sure that your essay was garbage though?

Yeah, are you sure this isn’t just last minute jitters about acceptances/rejections? I’m sure your essay was fine, but you can probably still call and ask to submit a revised one.

It was garbage, I assure you. I realized I didn’t even meet the word limit, and it was too general.

Hate to double post, but would anyone be willing to critique the revised version?

Shoot me a PM and I’ll give you some feedback. It’s probably not as bad as you think…

I hate threads like these because they make me double-take MY essay (though two people at the writing center here said it was written very well…oh well…haha).

I wouldn’t mind looking at it either.

I recommend using your school’s Writing Tutorial Services. Mine helped a LOT.

Thanks for the offers, but I managed to get someone to look it over and sent it off. Hopefully they’ll take it.
