so i submitted my commonapp after the deadline..

so the deadline for cornell and johns hopkins were both 1/1 and i sent in both the common app and supplements to both schools on 1/2 at about 12:30 am
and i also just sent in my sat/sat2 scores from collegeboard.com, which said scores should be getting there 3-5 weeks from now when the deadline for sat score submissions was 1/1 too
i got teacher recs and transcript in like a week before though..

should i be worrying??
will they still process my apps even though it's late?
and my essays r good but i have one flagrant error due to no time in proofreading where i repeat the a word... is that gonna kill me??

procrastination has screwed me over again..
any help/ info at all would be much appreciated
thanks

char char charmander...

ouch. they might not accept it.

more opinions please? pleeeeeeeeeease???

ok so im pretty hopped up on red bull rite now and in crazy hella angst about this so im going to play some games and when i come back im praying for some positive feedback
and should i call admissions office when they open?

i think youll probably be okay ;) i dont tihnk they just throw out apps or anything if theyre a little late.

for jhu, their postmark deadline is 1/3. maybe you can send them a paper app instead? definitely call admissions office to check though

really you should be fine. it's not that big of a deal.
going from the posts here there would be a LOT of apps they'd have to deny just becuase of a couple of minutes, and I'm sure they won't do that.
so stop worrying!

You can contact the admission representative to find out their policy on deadlines.

Cornell and BU said they would process the apps

Edit: old post
