It's morally wrong, but who has morals these days?

Morality is open to interpretation. Like the Constitution. And the Bible.

there is nothing wrong with it as long as you dont break her heart!

~pp

Yes, morality is "open to interpretation," but, unlike the Constitution, there are no penalties for those whose moral codes are ones of personal convenience. However one elects to view a situation, if an individual decides to "hook up" with another person, and does not make his/her motivation clear -- or, in fact, deceives/manipulates the other person into thinking or assuming something very different -- then that individual is, quite simply, what their actions are: self-serving, underhanded and contemptible. Of course, if, in their lexicon, being self-serving, underhanded and contemptible are noble attributes, then they have every right to feel inordinately pleased with themselves. So, way to go Junior89, theoneo, and pprnoodle -- congrats.

Awwwwwwwwww thanks!!!!!!!

magd: patronizing much?

haha i don't condone dishonesty and manipulation of course, but you don't even know those guys. how can you condemn them as self-serving and contemptible?

ooops, sorry. Please substitute "exploitive" for "contemptible." The latter was a value judgement, and I should not have used it. I should stick with descriptive/objective words only. And Leah377, you're right, how could anyone describe pprrnoodle and co., in terms anything other than laudatory. After all, anyone who writes: "hook up yo...dont even go out, cuz you waste time and money on something you can achieve in a night 'specially if she's dumb and annoying" must be an O.K. guy.

Actually, I never did any tricking.

meh... I can't tell if a certain girl likes me or...., you know, likes me.

so as soon as i post everyone runs away?

of course we all run away

a guy who I've had a crush on in the past told me he likes me and I did what???(start imagining)

I was like I gotta go and fled...while going red like A TOMATOE...and while he's pretty nice, why did he pick the middle of the high school hallway to say it in a loud voice....I never knew how I got thro' school those days....

I can't believe I've managed to come across this thread again.

She likes me. :)

put yourself in the same position

if a guy gives you his number and asks you to call him...... there is no way you're going to do that cuz otherwise you'll come out as looking desperate....and it's not gonna look right..... so give him some time... he will call

lol, considering this thread is from june she's given him time...
and he did eventually call, said he didn't know her very well and they should get to know each other before deciding anything about a relationship and it looked like nothing was going to happen.

and that's a great update mathwiz!
