So I understand that there were two different SAT tests, but I didn't take either...

I just got back
and I was reading the threads, but none of the answers seem familiar to me.
I am questioning whether there was a third SAT test?

My critical reading had 4 sections (1 dummy, obv)
there was one about the art
another one about monarch butterflies
another one about this man visiting his wife's family
... there were more, I just can't recall at the moment
Did anyone take the same test? btw, I am in Canada

Also, I had a question about the writing passage
there was
Audiences that had never been
OR
audiences who have never been

i chose the firt one, but i think the answer was the second? hopefully not....

so if anyone did take this, which is this is it TEst #1 or #2? or a possible # 3?

def more than 3 tests.

woah,,,
so why is collegeboard doing this?
do they just wanna screw us up by giving everyone different tests?
or is this a new strategy that we cannot comprehend their motives of?

you took the repeated one
that was june 2008 SAT...i specifically remember
monarch butterfly
and i heard int'l ppl saying it was exactly the same

isn't it not fair tho? it's only been 6months and
ppl have been discussing not too long ago ;(

There were 3 tests given today: An International version which you took - it was about monarch butterflies. Then there were 2 tests given today domestically: one had reading passages about nature, navigation, etc. The other had passages about Emily Bronte space (alien) and advertisment.

Within those test, the section order may vary and the experimental sections may vary.

^wouldn't it be possible for someone to get the same test again then....

FYI, It is NOT the same passage with the same questions.
I wrote the int'l one tooo. I heard something about that visiting wife's famiyl being the experimental, but I'm not 100% sure.

r u sure??

cuz some ppl outside of this website who took it yesterday were like
it's exact passage w/ the same questions!!
and were complaining A LOT

Holy crap... I'm international and I got those passages too.

Monarch butterfly.
Guy visiting his wife's family.
Something about a non-emotional critic.
Don't remember the last one though.

God, I hate CollegeBoard for doing this.

Yeah, I was debating on that one too. I put the first one... because of the tense. The entire sentence was in past tense, so this one portion had to be as well.

I'm in Canada and I got this one too.
It's very unfair that exactly the same test was used in June 2008.
Some people did it twice and it's first time for me. So definitely they would've done much better than me.
i don't know why Collegeboard is doing this. ㅡㅡ^

I had that one too. I wrote had been, cause of the tense agreement.

What are you serious?
The same test was in june?!!?!?

This stupid thing doesn't let me do all caps.

audiences who have never before been interested in dance is the correct answer XD almost exact question appeared in my practice psat booklet long ago, LOL.
oh man,i wished i had taken june, freak!! no wonder why my friend said the butterfly looked similar!!GAH!!!
oh well it wasn't even hard,so lol..

Man I am an international and I got the passage relating to Monarch butterflies.

Ren the SAT'er, shouldn't it be audiences that HAD never before been to blah blah blah? Because otherwise there would be a parallelism problem.

^oh yes u're right. but yeah, the ans is pretty what i typed

I got the same thing
I hope the experimental one was the art critic one !
Well, it's either the one about art critic or the other (which I don't remember) since both were same type of CR (2 short passage, 1 long passage)

Let's find out which one is experimental! Did any international test taker get the blue version ? Tell me which ones you've got!

What's the blue version? I'm hoping the experimental one was the one where the dude visits his wife's grandma...I think I got a couple wrong on that.

Was the dud visiting his wife's grandma one with 2 short passages and one long passage?
