<p>Barring stupid errors, this should be the crowning achievement of a year's worth of intensive training. :D i.e., my first ascension where class != valkyrie. After 172 failed attempts, you start to appreciate the true meaning of how hard it is to win at NetHack.</p>

<p>He's done the Quest and Castle (0:3 wand of wishing ftw) and is headed into Hell with AC -28 and all important intrinsics. Eels and liches have been genocided. So long as I don't play drunk or sleep-deprived, I should be doing fine. Actually, that's not very likely given it's three in the morning, I have to go to work tomorrow, and I'm still playing.</p>

<p>Ha, ha... good luck! I have no idea what NetHack is like (I've gained a rudimentary idea of what it IS at this point from your descriptions), so 0:3 wand of wishing means nothing to me... but it sounds like you're doing pretty well... yeah =)</p>
