So im done with my first year of college.

So why do I still feel the same as I did in August? When I started college I would remember how much I missed high school, I loved high school, the best years of my life. Most people say how they are so happy to leave high school that they couldnt wait to get out and I thought I would just get used to college by the end of the year. Well im here and im just not happy, thats one of the reasons im trying to transfer. I guess my experience really didnt help either, the school I go to was never my first choice, it was a school I applied to after being rejected by all my schools and I have a horrible roommate. Also when I thought of going to college I thought of a school with a real campus, my school is basically spread out all over the city, I have to take a bus from my dorm just to get to where all my classes are. I guess im just one of those people that its gonna take longer to get used to than others. Well thanks for listening to my long rant. :)

Sounds like you really do need a transfer.

Liking the campus is quite important (and I dont think I would like yours)

Yeah Virginia...I would transfer. I did (from a city school to a pure campus) and it was the best thing I ever did.

Well im currently waiting for a decision from the University of Miami, Virginia tech and Maryland. Im hoping to get into atleast one of these because i've visited 2 of them and loved them and i've heard Miami has one of the prettiest campuses in the country.
