So, I'm Going to VT This Fall

I'll be entering as a graduate student in August, Woohoo! I'm actually pretty nervous about heading to the east coast from Colorado/New Mexico. I'm huge into swing dancing but I hear there is an amazing talented scene in DC. How reasonable would it be to commute to DC once a week or every other week for a night?

If you have a car, it would only be a few hour drive. I believe there is a bus that runs to DC, but you'd be there the whole weekend, and its expensive I think.

I see you're a grad student. So I'd assume you have a car.

It's a 4 hour drive to DC 3 1/2 hours on a good day.

It'd be a lot of driving. There's swing dancing on campus though, so maybe you could do that and then just go up to DC occasionally. I think it'd be a pain but if you're alright with driving (let's be honest here, with NOVA traffic it's 4-5 hours) one way every week then yeah, you could do it.
