So I'm kind of behind on scheduling..

Well since late June I've been up in Alaska working as a deckhand on a salmon fishing boat, so I've had almost no time to access the internet, use a cell phone, or do anything with Berkeley. I just received my Adviser Code and such, but I have absolutely no idea what I need to do or what I have to do to search for classes, meet requirements, set up a schedule or do anything for that matter. Does anyone have some links or recommended schedules or just anything to help someone with limited time on the internet? I should be able to log on tomorrow but if not then Wednesday of next week. I'm an undeclared pre-business major but I'm definitely thinking of changing or not going into business.

start with these sites:
telebears.berkeley.edu
schedule.berkeley.edu
Degree Requirement-L&S Requirements

if you're doing business/haas then you probably want to take ugba10 or econ 1/2 except those classes most likely are quite filled by now. try waitlisting.

also - sign up for prerequisite business classes such as math 1a/b or 16a/b, statistics 20/21/25, and more of which can be found: Undergraduate Program - Admissions - Haas School of Business

For Haas you also want to take care of the literature requirement and of the breadths.

Finishing up requirements (AC, R1a,R1b, etc.) might be your best bet if your not sure on Haas, since your have to take those kinds of classes regardless

also...you may want to keep in mind that you have to take a minimum of 13 units and a maz of 20.5 i believe..but you should take it easier is what they said at calso for your first semester
