So, I'm New to the ACT...

Hey Guys,

I'm pretty new to the ACT because I've been concentrating all my efforts on the SAT. However, I have decided to take the ACT in September for "Fun" if you want to call it that.

So far here are the books I have:

PR 08
Official Book
Kaplan Premier

Can I get some advice on where to start and which books are the best for ACT prep? (I'm hoping to score anywhere from 34-36).

Thanks!

I like Barrons for math & science.

Aww...I knew I should have bought Barrons...

I thought PR did a pretty good job of explaining things. The red book didn't really explain much, but I guess their tests are supposed to be good.

PR is really good and the real act book has good practice tests

barrons english-kinda out of scope
math-idk
reading-a little harder than real thing cuz passages are quite dense
science-idk
