"holy crap.
I play a lil round of counterstrike and then check the forum, and i see all these angry horde of "college experts"..."

ha, you're the one who first claimed to know his stuff. Of course, people are going to correct you if they see you passing off blatantly wrong or misleading information...That's what this forum is for...

I agree with DHL3 on that. And I also agree with him concerning courseload IF AND ONLY IF you are applying to schools not included in the UC system (or I guess schools that don't do that California CC program yall are all talking about). If you are going to also apply to some private universities (like top 50) they will DEFINITELY make sure you haven't taken a bunch of crap and they will be able to tell the difference b/w someone finishing with Differential Equations as opposed to one with only Calculus I (using math as an example cuz that's all I really know so far).

Okay, does anyone know if I can take AP exams during college? I ask this because a few couses aren't available at my community college and I'm hoping the AP Stats examination and the AP Comp Sci examination will help me clear those requirements out.

I think you can CLEP classes or appeal for credit by examination (The department chair or something will make a test for you to take...I think) Go look it up at pcc.

Engl 1A, Stat 50, Philo 33, and Anthr 1 (Math 5A for the Winter Intersession) at Pasadena City College. So I've got 14 units total for the semester. Is this okay for UC Berkeley or is this 'weak'?

So few graduate with that major. Would it be safe to assume that it won't be too hard to get into that major, given I have a high GPA (3.8-4.0)?
