So Im thinkin of taking Film TV 106A

History of American Motion Picture w/ Kuntz...anyone take this class?

I really want to take that class as well. Is it too heavy for a Freshmen to take?

no it's fine. 2 papers, midterm, final, hour section each week. each part is worth 20% of your grade. but the papers are not easy! oh and it's a really long class. two four hour lectures w/ movies plus the discussion. kunz knows EVERYTHING there is to know on the subject, so if you are really interested in the history of american film take it. it you are not and are just looking to watch movies, DON'T take it.

aquasocks: when is the final? I looked at the site doesn't give an exact time

its usually the week before real finals, during class. so, it will never conflict with another class's final, don't worry bout it.

aquasocks: so you're saying to not take it? Im takin 3 engineering classes so I thought the movie class would be chill

right now Im deciding between

Arts and Architecture 10
Astronomy 5
Film 106A

arts and architecture is realllllly easy according to most. film 106A is a GREAT class but its LONG and you have to go to lectures. it's not a joke. and also unless you're truly interested in film you probably won't like it.

then I guess arts and architecture it is...what do you know about Astronomy 5?
