So is anyone not happy at UCLA?

I've heard all the great things about UCLA. Great location, academics, opportunities and great cost. UCLA just sounds great. Too great?

Well is there anyone who's not happy at UCLA despite these things and if so, why?

I know of one or two threads on this site about this exact subject, but the consensus is that most of us are damn happy to be here. There are always exceptions, though.

The thing to remember is that you’re free now. No parents to tell you what to do, no forcing you to go to class, nothing. If you’re not having a blast at UCLA, it is your own fault, and you’re the only one who can fix it.

I have five friends currently attending UCLA. They are freshmen and sophomores, and they are all very different, personality-wise as well as major-wise-- they are directing, biology, aerospace engineering, and international business majors. Some of them love going to football and basketball games, while some of them could care less; some of them party, while some are more straight-laced. Some came from public high schools, and some came from parochials; some are in res hall triples, and some are in plazas. One thing that they all have in common, though, is their absolute love for the university. They all did their best to sway me to pick UCLA, and they all offered to show me around when I visited. I think this speaks a lot to the university’s widespread appeal and general excellence.

fortify, that is a very interesting link.

ps: does anyone know how i can ask a question on here?!!! i can’t find it anywhere!
